Above all else, the application has to work. And it has to work real good. That’s half the battle. The other half is how it looks. It has to look good. Real good. We design and handcraft each piece of all screens, ensuring every detail gets the proper attention. We work on all our projects with this same care and scrutiny, with the objective of creating the best user experience for the target market. In the end, our websites do what they are designed to do, as best as they possibly can, with the most useful combination of technology available at the time.

Project Overview
Rareview, an award-winning interactive agency, designed and built Start a Resolution, a project management application. Aside from pen and paper, and creative thought, we used the following applications and technologies to complete the project:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- XHTML/CSS
- Classic ASP
- Flash/XML
- Actionscript 2
We created and built Start a Resolution. It's built entirely in Flash for a rich experience that includes animation and sound. The Content Management System (CMS) is built in ASP.
About Start a Resolution
Start a Resolution is a concept that we created in-house because we wanted to do something very creative and motivating. Essentially, the site lets users enter their New Year’s resolutions (and reason) and be part of a community that helps them achieve that resolution. The user is automatically assigned a coach to help them reach their goal, and in turn the user becomes a coach to the next person that creates a resolution. Coaches and trainees can chat on the site and users can get involved in various ways, one of which is our favorite; by kicking each other! We won the prestigious FWA Site of the Day award for Start a Resolution! Featured on January 1, 2008 on www.thefwa.com, Start a Resolution has gained considerable fanfair and recognition for ingenuity, design, and flash development since it launched in late December 2007. We also won a Webby Award.
