Above all else, the application has to work. And it has to work real good. That’s half the battle. The other half is how it looks. It has to look good. Real good. We design and handcraft each piece of all screens, ensuring every detail gets the proper attention. We work on all our projects with this same care and scrutiny, with the objective of creating the best user experience for the target market. In the end, our websites do what they are designed to do, as best as they possibly can, with the most useful combination of technology available at the time.

Logo Design

Part of this project was conceptualizing and designing a logo to be the center-point of the client's brand.

Project Overview

Rareview, an award-winning interactive agency, designed and built the Jobberwoky website. Aside from pen and paper, and creative thought, we used the following applications and technologies to complete the project:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • XHTML/CSS
  • Javascript (jQuery)
  • AJAX
  • PHP
  • Flash/XML
  • Actionscript 3

The front-end was developed in XHTML/CSS, Flash, jQuery and AJAX. Flash was used to create the homepage animation and various other elements. The back-end was developed using PHP. We built a custom Content Management System (CMS) that is also built in PHP. We integrated PayPal's merchant account product for billing.
