Above all else, the application has to work. And it has to work real good. That’s half the battle. The other half is how it looks. It has to look good. Real good. We design and handcraft each piece of all screens, ensuring every detail gets the proper attention. We work on all our projects with this same care and scrutiny, with the objective of creating the best user experience for the target market. In the end, our websites do what they are designed to do, as best as they possibly can, with the most useful combination of technology available at the time.

As part of this project, Rareview created various branding concepts and pieces. Below are a few unique business card designs.

Original Concepts

Not all of our great ideas are chosen. Here are some of the other concepts we presented and discussed with the client.

Project Overview

Rareview, an award-winning interactive agency, designed and built the GameInvestors website. Aside from pen and paper, and creative thought, we used the following applications and technologies to complete the project:

  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Illustrator
  • XHTML/CSS
  • Javascript (jQuery)
  • AJAX
  • ASP.NET
  • Telerik .NET Controls
  • Flash/XML
  • Actionscript 3

We were responsible for designing the entire look and feel, as well as the branding for GameInvestors. In addition, we developed the entire front-end of the site in XHTML/CSS, Flash, Jquery and AJAX. Flash was used to create the homepage animations and video integration, as well as various other elements. We also developed part of the back-end using ASP.NET and MsSQL (Sequel Server). We built a custom Content Management System (CMS) that is also built in ASP.NET. We integrated their existing Ultracart shopping cart for ecommerce.
